Florence Bike Festival

From 1 to 3 March 2013, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM will be held at the Fortezza
da Basso BiciFI, Florence Bike Festival, an event not to be missed by lovers of
bikes. There will be the opportunity to test bikes and accessories for fascinating
routes and new technologies for all needs. A festival because BiciFi open a n
unexplored scenery on bike with shows and lots of fun.

Fair of Chocolate

On days 23.02 and 24.02, from 9 AM to 8 PM, the fair of Chocolate will be held at Scandicci, in Matteotti Square, where you can taste and buy many varieties and
kinds of chocolate!! In the same days there will be open shops and markets
stand. Scandicci is easily reachable from the city center by tram and bus in 20
minutes.

Viareggio Carnival 2013

VIAREGGIO CARNIVAL 2013 !!!

On 3, 10,12,17 February and 3 March, will be held the Viareggio Carnival, that
celebrate 140 years of life and is no doubt one of the best known events in Italy.
Music, dances in the street, confetti, streamers, and the funny parade which has
the purpose of baring the problems of society.

The shows start at 3 PM.

The entry fee is: 15 Euro for adults and 10 euros reduced. From Florence, Viareggio is
reachable by train in an hour and a half.

PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 83 in Florence

From the 08th to the 11th of January 2013 at the Fortezza da Basso of Florence will take place the 83rd edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, one of the most important international fair of male fashion.
The fortress will host over 1.000 brands/collections, 380 foreign brands, 825 participating companies and more than 32,000 visitors.
In the same dates, at the Dogana, adjacent to the Fortezza da Basso, will be held Pitti W no.11, the fair event dedicated to women’s fashions.

Traditional Christmas Market in Piazza Santa Croce

From November 28th until December 16th, comes back to Florence the traditional Christmas Market in Piazza Santa Croce.

The magnificient square will host 50 wooden houses where you can buy traditional decorations for your Christmas tree and crib, mulled wine, a lot of traditional food products, and find some original ideas for your gifts!!
